Industrial rock music has often been darker, more negative, however this is changing. There is this really upbeat recovery music I saw by Matt Soren the other day that has a different perspective on industrial music. His project is a mix of electro-rock and the concept of knocking out addiction.

There are some music downloads at his URL at www.returnfrombroken.com. It looks like the mixes are raw versions in lou of official tracks. They sound high quality to me but that’s just my opinion. It is cool to find more industrial rock like this written particularly for addiction recovery in a more aggressive way from an addict that has had the experience and is making a difference for others. It’s nice to have this type of rock stemming from the industrial genre which is usually more rebellious in nature. Got to love that!

Oh yeah, he has free tracks you can get from his website and more in his members area which is free. I also saw discounts, wallpaper, and other downloads. It will be nice to get the album once it is released. That’s my two cents!
