If you can find a good wedding planner, then they are worth it. However, I worked with the catering hall, and they helped me cover a lot of bases as well.

Working with an experienced wedding planner can be advantageous, both for the couple who are organizing the wedding and the guests who are there for the experience and to celebrate the day.
Even though many different halls and hotels do offer a manager to assist with things, I have found that there is something unique, special and enriching to have the knowledge that everything will be taken care of by the weddign planner.
